You’ve concluded that your old rubber stamp and dirty stamp pad have better days, and it’s time to order a new stamp. It’s supposed to be quick, right?
You know what you’re going to mean. Maybe it’s “Confidential” or “Received” or “Approved,” or maybe it’s something like an address or a signature stamp or a photo of your Stanley dog. Half of the cake.
Well, what’s this? Pre-inked stamps… Self-inked stamps. What’s the difference, because nobody told you that you were going to have to make a decision. Don’t worry, we’re here to help you out. Here’s a primer on your choices to help you make the right decision for your career.

Stamps pre-inked
– No ink pad required; the gel ink is formed into a print.
– Offers crisp, tidy impressions of no plumage.
– Up to 50,000 impressions prior to re-inking.
Choose our Pre-inked Stamp
– The consistency of the impression itself is the most critical factor.
– Consumer needs a product made in the USA
– Not for fast, repeat stamping
Stamps with self-inking
– The disposable ink pad is integrated into the stamp mount
– With each impression, the photopolymer impression reaches the ink pad.
– The impression that dies moves the ink from the pad to the paper
– Up to 10,000 prints before removing the ink pad
Choose Self-Inking stamps as you choose:
– The consistency of the impression itself is not the most critical factor.
– When used for simple, repeat stamping (clerical, warehouse, service center, etc.)
– The artwork does not include broad areas of strong paint.
– Ink does not travel uniformly from a pad to a large solid surface on a die
